| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To obtain easily an adhesive used to seal the seam of the side of a smokable article without detriment to its taste by adding pectin to heated desalted water in divided portions and agitating the obtained mixture to perform the chain decomposition of the pectin. CONSTITUTION: Pectin is added in divided portions to heated desalted water, and the obtained mixture is agitated to decompose the pectin chains to form an aqueous pectin dispersion. This dispersion is used as an adhesive used to seal the seam of the side of a smokable article. It is desirable that the aqueous dispersion used is a water/alcohol dispersions and that the rate of pectin is 20-25 wt.% on the dry basis. It is desirable that the average molecular weight of the pectin used is 20,000-40,000 g/mol. According to the above process, an adhesive which is easily prepared, has reproducibility and is easily processable can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
