The shelter frame pieces mount to pivot couplers and a surrounding multi-panel fabric shelter. The shelter can include windows and/or doors and/or vents with fasteners. The chair and shelter frameworks and fabric shelter are organized to collapse and deploy to several seating conditions ranging from the chair being partially to completely protected from the environment.
123 Bed-tent US11211190 2005-08-25 US07174584B2 2007-02-13 Thomas C. Danaher
A bed-tent provides an enclosure over a mattress. The tent forms a canopy having spaced apart panels and a flexible cover extending between the panels. Each panel includes a hoop of flexible, resilient, strip material and a sheet of flexible fabric in the space within the hoop. Retainers secure the canopy on the mattress. A supporting frame holds the panels erect. The frame has stanchions disposed externally of the canopy and releasably connected to the panels. A frame member externally of the canopy above the cover holds the stanchions upright. The hoops can be twisted or wound into flat coils of reduced diameter so that the entire canopy can be conveniently stored in a small package. The legs and the frame member are made of segments that are normally held together by elastic cords. The segments can be pulled apart and separated for storage in a convenient package.

126 Mosquito net frame US10382415 2003-03-06 US06715168B2 2004-04-06 Troy Eugene Williams
The present invention provides a mosquito net frame. A rectangular top frame portion of the mosquito net frame is realized by easily assembling square tubes or rods and fittings together. Square tubes or rods are also used for corner columns that also interface with the fittings of the top frame at each corner of the top frame. A foot is added at the bottom of each column to assist in supporting the mosquito net frame from a frame of a cot or from a ground surface. A conventional mosquito netting or other fabric is supported by the mosquito net frame to protect a sleeping person. Disassembly and transport is realized by simply pulling the square tubes from the fittings and placing the components in a container with a secured lid for carrying, shipping and storing the mosquito net frame.
127 Playyard system with canopy US09745326 2000-12-21 US06425150B1 2002-07-30 Kenny Cheng
A playyard system including a playyard structure and a canopy is provided. The canopy is detachably mounted onto a top frame of the playyard structure by directly connecting support members of the canopy with improved connecting end portions to corresponding corner blocks of the playyard with improved connecting grooves thereby the playyard system may be manufactured with fewer component number and lower cost.

129 Insect net assembly US09329123 1999-06-09 US06263894B1 2001-07-24 Mark LaMantia
A protective cover against insects for babies' and toddlers' enclosures such as cribs, playpens, strollers and the like includes an unstructured tubular body portion and an unstructured dome-shaped hood, both made of insect netting material which “breathes” and is transparent. The tubular body at its upper edge and the hood at its periphery each have a stretchable band or fastener that reduces the effective dimensions of the body edge and hood periphery so that the body may be drawn downwardly over the enclosure and be held in place by the reduced dimension of the edge and the hood is drawn downwardly over the top of the enclosure and its periphery overlaps the top edge of the body portion.
130 Playyard cabana US177180 1998-10-22 US6109280A 2000-08-29 Marty Custer
A cabana system adapted for use in a stand-alone mode is disclosed. The system includes a separable floor for use as a cover for a playyard of the type having vertically extending reception apertures in the upper corners thereof. The system is comprised of a frame fabricated of two flexible rods. Each flexible rod is hollow with free ends adapted to be received within apertures of a playyard. The rods are positioned in side-by-side relationship to thereby form a generally cylindrical central extent. The rod placement further forms spaced semi-circular planar surfaces on opposite sides thereof at the ends of the central sections. A fabric cover covers the tubes with a screen door in a semi-circular configuration in one planar face thereof with a fastener for coupling and uncoupling the screened panel. A fabric floor is formed as an extension of one planar face remote from the screen door and is adapted to depend downwardly over one side of the playyard when deployed thereon. The floor has a fastener to couple the floor to the lower periphery of the frame when used in a stand-alone mode independent of the playyard.
131 Apparatus for protecting against insects US872991 1992-04-24 US5259408A 1993-11-09 Francois Guerin
The invention relates to apparatus for providing protection against insects. The apparatus comprises a support device (10), a framework (20) carried by the support device, and netting carried by the framework for the purpose of surrounding a protected zone. The framework comprises a central pivot (22) about which a plurality of arms are capable of pivoting about practically the same axis, said axis being designed to be substantially vertical. The arms (24, 26) can pivot about said axis between a working position in which they are distributed around the axis and a rest position in which they are all placed on the same side of a vertical plane including the pivot. The invention is applicable to mosquito nets.
132 Insect and reptile barrier for outdoorsmen US838494 1977-10-03 US4137584A 1979-02-06 Norman G. Sharber
A ground cloth mounted barrier extending around an occupant in a sleeping bag shields the occupant from reptiles and crawling insects. The barrier, being of smooth surfaced material, such as vinyl plastic, precludes a sufficient gripping surface for the insects and the reptiles to permit them to traverse the barrier. The underlying ground cloth shields against intrusion beneath the barrier or from the ground from within the barrier. A peripheral smooth surfaced section of the ground cloth extending lateral to the barrier further discourages intrusion of reptiles by providing a large span over which they cannot obtain a grip.
133 Mist-oxygen therapy cribliner tent US52441474 1974-11-18 US3905056A 1975-09-16 ROSENDAHL JEAN F
A cribliner tent includes a plastic sheet having a bottom panel designed to be placed under a crib mattress and also having end and side panels having end flaps adapted to form loops over the top rails of the side and end sections of the crib with doublefaced adhesive fastening portions on the flaps to secure them to the panels. The side panels have end flaps adapted to be woven into uprights of the end sections of the crib to form airtight corners. The tent may be used as described as an open top tent, may be inverted and placed over a frame and also may be used as a stain preventing cover of a bed.
