An oral care implement comprises a head with a plurality of cleaning elements, and a light source incorporated into or adjacent the head. The light source is incorporated prior to the attachment of the cleaning elements for ease of manufacturing and a cost-effective assembly. The cleaning elements are preferably pre-formed and attached to the head after the incorporation of the light source so that the provision of the light source does not require any post-processing that might impair the integrity of the head or cleaning elements. |

An oral care implement includes a head platform having a plurality of faces with bristles extending therefrom. The oral care implement can have a pair of opposite bristled faces and the bristles can extend from the faces in opposite directions. The oral care implement can be formed by affixing a first AFT-tufted carrier plate to a first face of the head platform and affixing a second AFT-tufted carrier plate to the second face of the head platform. Optionally, the oral care implement can be formed by in-mold tufting bristles in the first face and affixing an AFT-tufted carrier plate to the second face of the head platform. |

The present invention is a delivery tip for flowable materials with bristles or fibers extending therefrom. The tip is a cannula with a tapered outlet and features a bristle or fiber bundle with a binding restriction member that interfaces with the cannula at some point within the cannula but has a smaller cross-sectional area for flow passage than the cannula at that point. The bristle or fiber bundle extends out of the tapered outlet. The delivery tip is provided means to connect to a material reservoir with flowable material. When positive pressure is applied to the reservoir, material then will flow through the cannula, around the restriction member, into the bristles or fibers and out the outlet for distribution to a desired surface. |

A hair brush includes a brush head and a bristle/handle assembly. The head includes a cylindrical barrel with a plurality of apertures in it, and the bristle/handle assembly includes a handle and a bristle tree assembly. The bristle tree assembly includes a central bristle rod, a plurality of bristles radially extending from the rod, and a connecting rod extending between the bristle rod and the handle. The bristle rod is positioned within the barrel, and the bristles extend through the barrel apertures in an extended position. The brush head and the bristle/handle assembly are not attached to each other, and instead they slide longitudinally relative to each other. When the handle and the barrel are slid apart from each other, the bristle rod travels with the handle to retract the bristles to a retracted positioned further within the barrel. |

A hand-held device for removing lint balls from a fabric that includes a body, and a pad. The body is fork-shaped and includes a handle, and bifurcations that extend longitudinally from the handle. The bifurcations have grooves that extend longitudinally therein, and the handle has a groove that extends transversely thereacross and communicates with the grooves in the bifurcations so as to form a generally U-shaped channel. The body further includes a plate that extends from one bifurcation to the other bifurcation and provides rigidity for the pad. The pad is a layer of flexible material that is snugly, slidably, and selectively disposed in the generally U-shaped channel. The exterior surface of the layer of flexible material is covered with prongs that function similarly to hooks of a hook and loop fastener for engaging and removing the lint balls from the fabric when brushed thereacross. The prongs run in rows that extend laterally thereacross and diagonally upwardly toward the bifurcations, with adjacent rows thereof facing in opposite directions. |

Disclosed is a flat-back hairbrush mainly including a flat back member and an elastic member attached to a stepped and raised top portion of the back member and having a plurality of brushing pins distributed thereon. The elastic member has a downward extended flange around its lower outer periphery to just firmly enclose an outer periphery of the raised top portion of the back member. The tight and flush fit as well as an adequate amount of glue applied between the flange portion of the elastic member and the raised top portion of the back member allows the back member and the elastic member to be easily and quickly assembled to form the hairbrush without causing deformation of the elastic member over the back member. |
