PURPOSE: A foldable rolling device is provided to reduce working time by using three rollers. CONSTITUTION: A frame structure(12) includes a connection unit(10) in the front and a plurality of roller installation units(11) in the rear. A roller(13) is installed at each roller installation unit of a frame structure. At least one or more rollers are folded in a rotatable structure of the roller installation unit. A wheel(14) is installed in the frame structure. An actuator(15) folds the roller with the roller installation unit.
6 Agricultural implements with hinged and floating wings US12387935 2009-05-08 US20100282481A1 2010-11-11 Christopher Lee Tamm; Norman George Reichardt
A towable soil pulverizer having a longitudinal center section, and foldable wings mounted by hinges on opposite sides of the center section to fold upwardly or downwardly about substantially longitudinal hinge axes. The wings and center section have ground working rollers. Each hinge has a spaced ball joint and guide roller in roller slot. A wing float axis for each wing extends substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal hinge axis in a transverse direction, each wing also being pivotal about the float axis. The hinge design with the float axis prevents weight transfer between the center section and wing sections when the pulverizer operates over uneven soil, to provide uniform soil conditioning over the width of the pulverizer. The center section rollers are positioned ahead of (or behind or co-linear with) the wing rollers. Components of the ball joint and roller guide in slot are fixedly and non-rotationally attached to the center section.
7 Soil conditioning device US12345180 2008-12-29 US07730961B2 2010-06-08 Keith Ward; Charles Stephen Carr
A soil conditioning device having a series of peripheral ridge members having a leading and trailing prow shaped surface circumscribing a disc, wheel or drum. Optionally the prow shaped peripheral ridge members are joined by sub-ridge members forming a single ridge of varying heights circumscribing the disc, wheel or drum. The invention is also of a method for creating a permeable soil surface using the apparatus herein.
8 Lawn striping assembly US10818573 2004-04-06 US06962039B2 2005-11-08 Robert Greenhoe
The lawn striping assembly (10, 110) utilizes a C-shaped channel member having a plurality of attachment positions (22, 122). A pair of brackets (46) attach a roller apparatus (16) to the frame (302) of a lawn mower (114). The C-shaped channel member includes a top portion (20, 120) presenting a plurality of attachment positions (22, 122) for retaining a fastener (42, 142, 242) therein. In a more specific sense, the invention utilizes a pair of said C-shaped channel members disposed in back to back relationship with one another.
9 Universal hub assembly US698426 1996-08-15 US5794713A 1998-08-18 Clint Berscheid
A hub that has universal application for use with a rotatable body, such as a packer wheel for seed planting, includes a flange which abuts a side wall of the body, a non-circular or polygonal boss that projects laterally from an inner side of the flange, and a bore that extends through the hub along the rotation axis. The non-circular shape of the boss prevents relative rotation between the hub and the body. The bore is generally cylindrical to receive a cylindrical shaft but it is also provided with generally V-shaped corners cut into the bore surface so that the bore can receive a rectangular shaft to which the hub is thereby locked for rotation therewith. The end face of the boss is provided with a projecting pin diametrically opposed from a similarly shaped recess such that the pin and recess of one hub can mate with the recess and hub respectively of another hub to achieve an aligned hub assembly for mounting a wide rotating body.
10 Pocket press wheel US708489 1977-08-08 US4158392A 1979-06-19 Bernard C. Belanger
A wheel consisting of cast steel or cast iron having smoothly configured lugs with sufficient weight to press and shape individual pockets in the soil, leaving the ground firm and with a series of individual pockets for the purpose of holding water to prevent water erosion or water run off. Prior art smooth press wheels generally leave continuous grooves in the soil causing water to run to the low areas of the field which leaves little moisture for plants on the higher soil.
11 Cultivator wheel for agricultural machines US605186 1975-08-15 US4047576A 1977-09-13 Willy Rau; Christian Taus
A cultivator wheel is disclosed for use in agricultural machines. It has a hub and tines which project substantially radially from the hub and are provided with pointed outer end portions. These tines are bent out of the central radial plane of the wheel. Portions of the wheel are formed with cutting edges that are inclined circumferentially of the wheel as well as relative to the central radial plane of the same.
12 Packer wheel construction US599646 1975-07-28 US4016934A 1977-04-12 Fred J. Schneider
Conventional land packer wheels used in conjunction with seed drills or the like tend to pulverize the soil and often become clogged with debris. The present device gives proper soil compaction and does not pulverize or clog due to the shape of the teeth which are of a tapered diamond formation. Also the teeth extend from both sides of a disc having a central hub which positions the discs one from the other correctly. The construction is also strong enough to support the weight of the implement.
