The removable sole of the invention comprises a forefoot section and a heel section. The two sections are connected to each other by a scissor brace mounted on the forefoot section and a tension band attached to the heel section. The tips of the two arms located in front of the joint of the scissor brace are angled, thus ensuring that the sole is held to the shoe at the toe. At the heel, this is ensured by a block projecting upwards at the end of the sole. The shoe is held in the three elements described above by the stretched elastic tension band. |

An improved method for protecting the sole of shoes from normal wear and tear, scratches and scrapes; allowing the consumer to enjoy the look of the original sole. The method consist of several important steps: 1) A transparent adhesive is cut in the shape of a sole. 2) The transparent adhesive is placed on the entire sole of the shoe. The “sticky” side of the adhesive is placed on the sole of the shoe. 3) The user then wears the shoe with the adhesive on the bottom of the shoe. 4) After a few wears, once the adhesive is no longer protecting the sole of the shoe, the user removes the adhesive. 5) Steps 1-4 are repeated with a new adhesive. |

An improved spiked shoe protector which provides a protection device to overlay the spikes of spiked shoes to protect the sharp end of the spikes, as well as the underlying surfaces with which the spikes would otherwise come in contact. A significant feature of the present invention is an adjustment strap which permits the protector of the invention to be adjusted in length to accommodate different shoe sizes and which also provides a limited elasticity for easy application to and removal of two separate portions from the shoe in much the same way that ski boots are secured to skis by bindings. The strap is affixed at one end to either a sole or heel portion of the protector and adjustably secured at the other end to the remaining portion. |

A disposable pad is constructed of materials that provide an alternate sole for the shoe, such as providing near or identical characteristics to the heel and sole of traditional bowling shoes. The pad will contain multiple layers including an adhesive layer that will allow the user to temporarily affix the pad to their own footwear. The pad may include multiple die cuts to accommodate male, female and children's footwear, for example, for ages five years old through adult. The pad may be used to transform the user's shoes, which are typically used for one purpose, to be adapted for use for a second purpose. |

Footwear for use with a plurality of footwear-mounted devices, a combination of footwear and footwear-mounted devices, and footwear-mounted devices. In some cases, the footwear may include a heel portion and forefoot portion that may be independently coupled in a locked engagement with the footwear-mounted devices. In one embodiment, the footwear-mounted device may be slidably coupled with the heel receiver and/or the forefoot receiver with an insertion motion that is substantially coplanar with the footwear's sole. |
