62 MATERIALSTRUKTUR MIT FLAMMFESTEM MATERIAL, INSBESONDERE FÜR WARNKLEIDUNG EP08802796.6 2008-10-06 EP2203588A1 2010-07-07 STÜBIGER, Werner
The invention relates to a material structure (1) comprising a base structure (10) that at least partially contains a flame-resistant material, with a first side (12) and a second side (14). At least the first side (12) of the base structure is printed with a pattern (20) that comprises the open area (50) that makes the surface of the base structure (10) visible. Said pattern (20) is made of a material (30) that contains an luminous dye (40). The visible surface of the first side (12) of the base structure (10), combined with the pattern (20), emits a colour of the material structure that meets the requirements according to european norm Nr. EN 471. Said material structures are used, in particular, for producing reflective and protective clothing.

75 GLOVE FOR FOOD HANDLING EP16207279.7 2016-12-29 EP3342297A1 2018-07-04 Tanabe, Hironobu

A glove (10) for food handling is provided by which, even if the glove (10) for food handling is broken and a broken piece thereof mixes in food, the broken piece can be easily found, and further, workability can be improved.

The glove main body (10) for food handling is kneaded with a luminescent material that, even if a broken piece K of the glove for food handling mixes in food F, makes the broken piece K emit light in response to ultraviolet rays S by irradiating the food F with the ultraviolet rays S by using an ultraviolet light source L such as a black light. The luminescent material is kneaded throughout the entire area of the glove main body (10) for food handling. Further, on a palm surface of the glove (10) for food handling, a plurality of fine first projections (110a) and a plurality of fine second projections (110b) formed on each of the first projections are formed.

Retroreflective articles are provided in the form of garments, fibers and filaments made with retroreflective elements that each include a solid spherical core (110) with an outer core surface, the outer core surface (115). providing a first interface; a first complete concentric optical interference layer (120) having an inner surface overlying the outer core surface (115) and an outer surface (125), the outer surface of the first complete concentric optical interference layer providing a second interface. In some embodiments, the retroreflective elements each include a second complete concentric optical interference layer having an inner surface overlying the outer surface of the first complete concentric optical interference layer and an outer surface, the outer surface of the second complete concentric optical interference layer providing a third interface. In other embodiments, the retroreflective elements each further include a third complete concentric optical interference layer having an inner surface overlying the outer surface of the second complete concentric optical interference layer and an outer surface, the outer surface of the third complete concentric optical interference layer providing a fourth interface. The garments include a surface having a plurality of the foregoing retroreflective elements disposed on the surface. The fibers include an elongate fibrous body having a plurality of the retroreflective elements adhered to the fibrous body. The retroreflective filaments each include a hollow, transparent, tubular member having a plurality of the retroreflective elements contained within the tubular member.
80 VAPOR PERMEABLE RETROREFLECTIVE GARMENT EP02744731.7 2002-06-27 EP1414320B1 2008-12-03 FEDUZI, Rino, A.; JENSEN, Robert, L, Jr.; SHUSTA, Jeanine, M.
The disclosure describes vapor permeable retroreflective material for use on protective garments. The material may be formed in a non-continuous pattern that provides a high-level of retroreflective brightness, yet also provides adequate permeability to prevent exposure to trapped thermal energy and heated moisture. The non-continuous retroreflective pattern may include retroreflective regions and non-retroreflective regions arranged such that thermal decay through the protective garment is not substantially decreased in the regions corresponding to the retroreflective material. Rather, vapor permeation and thermal decay through the garment may be substantially the same as if the retroreflective material was not present.
