82 Athletic glove having silicone-printed surface for consistent gripping ability in various moisture conditions US991487 1997-12-16 US6044494A 2000-04-04 Hye Sook Kang
An athletic glove having consistent gripping ability in various moisture conditions includes a palm portion and a back portion joined together to fit the human hand. The palm portion is made of a thin polyurethane-impregnated artificial leather material printed with a pattern of silicone sealant. The pattern is preferably achieved by silk-printing on contact areas of the palm portion with a two-part silicone sealant in repeated patterns of fine lines of a narrow width, to penetrate and bond firmly with the fiber thereof after curing and thereby improve gripping ability over that of bare artificial leather and impart consistent gripping ability in various moisture conditions without losing the original good, soft and supple feel, finger motion, and tactile response of the original material. A majority of the palm portion surface does not bear the silicone printing and thus prevents the thin film effects of water, because moisture on the silicone surface is promptly absorbed by capillary action into the leather material adjacent to the contact surface of the printed silicone sealant.

85 Hand cover US11387 1979-02-12 US4270228A 1981-06-02 Conrad J. Gaiser
There is disclosed a hand cover such as a glove or mitten having at least a portion of its frontal surface bearing an outwardly exposed thin pad of reticulated plastic foam. Reticulated plastic foam is a non-capillary, open skeletal fibrous structure that is obtained from open cell plastic foam by destroying a substantial quantity of the cell walls with a suitable treatment, leaving an intertwined skeletal fibrous structure. In various embodiments, the thin pad of reticulated foam overlies the palm, the frontal surfaces of the fingers, the entire frontal surface of the hand, or the entire hand. The reticulated foam provides a vastly superior grip to objects such as tools, bats, rackets and the like.

91 PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR USE WITH A GLOVE US15843838 2017-12-15 US20180103700A1 2018-04-19 James L. Hull
A color splash effect is established by a darker backdrop color of an outer surface of a liquid proof and heat resistant glove in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails. The color splash effect is accomplished by a lighter and brighter color being visible through the rupture in the glove. The lighter and brighter color may be formed on or as part of a protective member positioned beneath the outer layer. The protective member also protects the wearer against sharp objects contacting the outer layer of the glove and moving over the protective member. Some embodiments provide that the protective member is in a thumb crotch region of the glove.

96 Shooting Glove US15248900 2016-08-26 US20170055610A1 2017-03-02 Jo Won Seuk
The shooting gloves of this invention improves the shooter's ability to maintain the proper grip and hand orientation on a handgun. The shooting gloves have select areas on the outside of the glove covered by a viscid coating or sections of material that provide a tacky surface texture to the gloves. The viscid areas are strategically located on the gloves so that the viscid areas of the opposite glove contact each other when the shooter takes a conventional two handed grip of a handgun. The contacting viscid areas provide enhanced tactile feel and increased mechanical friction between the gloves that helps the shooter maintain the proper grip and hand position as the handgun is discharged. It should be noted that the viscid areas are located on the gloves not so as to directly contact the handgun, but are located on the gloves to directly contact corresponding or mating viscid areas of the other glove. The viscid areas of both right and left handed gloves are symmetrical, which allows the pair to be used by either right or left handed shooters.
97 Shear Management Gloves US14935232 2015-11-06 US20160066634A1 2016-03-10 Charles Ray
A glove provides high palm shear force and reduced finger shear force when pulling elongated articles such as a rope, a rod, and the like. A high COF material is applied to palm and a low COF material is applied to inner finger surfaces. The fingers are still used to grasp the elongated article, but the shear pulling force on the fingers is reduced and the shear pulling force on the palm is increased. In one embodiment, the underlying glove material on the palm and finger grasping surfaces is a synthetic leather material, the high COF material on the palm is a silicone rubber material deposited on the synthetic leather material and the low COF material on the inner finger surfaces is a ballistic material sewn onto the synthetic leather material, for example, an aramid fiber material sold under the trademark Kevlar®.
