PURPOSE:To decrease number of components and to simplify assembling, by respectively arranging the length from the end of upper and lower bosses of numeric wheels to the contact plate at opposite side and the length from upper and lower boses to a carry gear at opposite side and to a driving gear. CONSTITUTION:The length from a boss end (a) of a numeric wheel 30 to a contact plate II and the length from a boss end (b) to a contact plateIare arranged to ''A'' and the length from the boss end (a) to a carry gear wheel 32 and the length from the boss end (b) to a surface of a driving gear 31 are arranged to ''B''. The numeric wheels 30 are arranged alternately while positioning upside down at every specified interval and pinions 40 with the same construction are geared between the wheels 30 by reversely taking upside down, and they are assembled in a case (not shown) togethr with a slide print plate 60. Thus, the assembling can be made simple only with one kind of the numeric wheels and pinions.

PURPOSE:To prevent defection in continuity by reducing the length of a through- hole by fixing a flexible printed board, having paring of slide electrodes, to an insulating board arranged between character wheels. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of both-sided flexible printed board 20, pairs 30 of common slide electrode 31 and independent slide electrode 32 are provided and this printed board 20 is bonded to insulating plate 10 with pairs 30 of slide electrode out. Thus, insulating plate 10 and printed board 20 are bonded in a body and then arranged between character wheels 40, and while either one of movable contacts 41 and 42 of character wheels 40 slides on electrodes 31, the other is permitted to slide on electrode 32, thereby constituting the readout counter. Consequently, the length of a through-hole can be reduced, so it is not feared that defection in continuity occurs. Further, since the slide contact surface is one-sided, the process of inspection is shortened.

30 Counting register for hydraulic tool JP10657794 1994-05-20 JPH07314289A 1995-12-05 MARUYAMA KIYOSHI; OSAKA MASAMICHI
PURPOSE: To precisely grasp the number of times of use of a hydraulic tool by installing a counting value display means which receives the detection signal of a pressure detecting mechanism and counts and displays the number of times where the pressure in an oil passage for detecting the pressure reaches over a prescribed pressure. CONSTITUTION: Simultaneously with the press attaching work for a hydraulic tool, a portion of the pressurized oil which flows into the driving oil passage 35 of a counting register 31 for the hydraulic tool flows in the direction of arrow D into the shaft insertion hole 49c of a plug 49 through an oil passage 39 for detecting the pressure which is branched from an oil passage 35 for drive, peripheral groove 49b of the plug 49, and the communication hole 49d of the plug 49. When the pressure in the shaft insertion hole 49c becomes over a prescribed pressure, a plunger 51 retreats against the elastic urging force of a coil spring 59, and a switch 55 is pressed, and turned ON. Through this turning-ON operation of the switch 55, the signal is transmitted to a counting value display means 61 through an electric power source 63, and the counting value display means 61 which receives the signal counts the number of times of use of the hydraulic tool and displays the value. PURPOSE:To make the assembling easy, by assembling a numeric wheel and a pinion, while arranging oppositely a frame incorporated numeric wheel shaft and pinion shaft and a slide print plate for readout having holes to fit said shafts ls thereinto. CONSTITUTION:A frame 10 is formed while incorporated with legs 13 for both ends, numeric wheel shafts 11, and pinion shafts 12. A print plate 40 is provided with holes for the numeric wheels 11 at the center of each digit sliding part and holes for pinion shafts 12 to fit in intermediately. The numeric wheels 20 and the pinions 30 are inserted respectively to the shafts 11 and pins 12 at every one another positioning inversely upside down, the print plate 40 is inserted. Thus, the assembly can be simplified, the number of components can be decreased and the cost can be lowered.

A point-of-care hygiene compliance module includes a housing that is adapted to be attached to a dispensing container that dispenses material through a dispensing nozzle when actuated. The housing includes a pivoting actuation arm that is configured so as to be placed in operative contact with the dispensing nozzle. Thus, when the actuation arm is actuated, material is dispensed from the dispensing container, and a switch in operative contact with the actuation arm is actuated. The triggering of the switch updates a count value that is maintained by a controller, which may then be displayed or acquired by a remote computer to assess the amount of usage of the dispensing container.

40 Metering apparatus US382645 1989-12-14 US5045776A 1991-09-03 Ronald D. Claridge
Metering apparatus with a bank of number wheel indicators has wiper and position contacts to provide an electrical indication of the meter reading. The contacts are scanned in a measurement mode and, in an alternating test mode, test signals are imposed upon the position contacts and the output again scanned. In this way, a contact validation output is generated from which faults such as contact short circuits can be detected by the remote meter reading apparatus.
