The invention relates to a combined drum and munitions drive for a drum weapon (1), having a weapon tube (4) and a control body (6) disposed about the weapon tube (4), having an outside drive (5) operationally connected to a control curve (7) of the control body (6), serving for feeding a munition (20) into the drum (2) and for turning the drum (2). A pusher dog (13) engaging in the control curve (7) serves simultaneously for exerting a drive on the drum. To this end, the pusher dog (13) engages additionally in a drum drive curve (12) of a shaft (11) wherein a means (14), such as a gear, disposed on the drum side, engages in an internal tooth of the drum (2). If the pusher dog (13) is moved within the control curve (7) toward the rear in the direction of the drum (2), the munition (20) is fed in; when the pusher dog (13) is moved within the control curve (7) in the fill direction, the drum (2) rotates.

Es wird vorgeschlagen, eine, für die geradlinige Zuführung einer Munition (5) zu einem Waffenrohr benötigte Steuerwalze (3) in die Ebene der Rohrseelenachse einzubinden, vorzugsweise im Bereich des Patronenlagers bzw. des Laderaumes (6). Dazu wird ein, wenigstens zwei Steuerkurven (7, 8) tragender Steuerkörper (3) um das Waffengehäuse (10) im Bereich der Rohraufnahme koaxial gelagert. Eine der beiden Steuerkurven (7) befindet sich an der Mantelseite (3.1), die andere (8) an der Stirnseite (3.2) des Steuerkörpers (3). Durch diese beiden Steuerkurven (7, 8) werden über Steuerschieber (19) oder Hebel (24, 25) der Verschluss (20) geradlinig geführt und die Verschlussriegelung (21, 22) geöffnet bzw. geschlossen. Für die geradlinige Führung des Verschlusses (20) mit Hilfe eines Verschlussschiebers (19) erfolgt eine Umsetzung der Kurveninformation (7) in eine geradlinige Bewegung.

Bei einer bekannten Vorrichtung für einen nach vorn gerichteten Hülsenauswurf einer fremdangetriebenen Maschinenkanone sind als Mittel zum Ausstossen der leeren Patronenhülsen beidseitig im Außenbereich eines Rotors fest mit dem Verschluß verbundene relativ lange Ausstosserhebel vorgesehen, die wahlweise je nach der Zuführrichtung die leeren Patronenhülsen einmal aus der linken oder aus der rechten Rotortasche nach vorn ausstossen. Der Hebel wird beim Ausstossen der Hülse ungünstig überlagerten Belastungen ausgesetzt, die sich negativ auf die Einsatzbereitschaft des Verschlusses auswirken können.

Die neue Vorrichtung soll stabil und einfach sein, eine hohe Einsatzbereitschaft gewährleisten und negative Einflüsse auf den Verschluß vermeiden.

Die Vorrichtung enthält als Mittel 5 zum Ausschieben der leeren Patronenhülse 7 nach vorn einen innerhalb des Rotors koaxial und längsverschieblich gelagerten Hülsenschieber, der über radial in jede Rotortasche hineinragende stabile Mitnahmeelemente 10 verfügt und über eine robuste Formschlußverbindung 11 derartig mit dem Verschluß 3 verbunden ist, daß er einerseits gemeinsam mit dem Verschluß 3 in axialer Richtung für den Hülsentransport störungs­frei verschiebbar und andererseits intermittierend mit dem Rotor 9 umlaufen kann.
