9 BIPOD WITH DUAL AXIS ROTATING CAPABILITY EP16159945.1 2016-03-11 EP3217139A1 2017-09-13 POLING, Dale Avery

A bipod that allows for panning (i.e., via pivoting) of a firearm mounted on the bipod without repositioning one or both of the bipod leg feet. To this end, the bipod is configured for allowing a firearm attached thereto to be independently rotated about and perpendicular to an axis extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the barrel of the firearm. Advantageously, in many situations, this will allow the shooter to position the firearm in a preferred shooting position and to follow or acquiring a target with a sighting device of the firearm without having to reposition one or both of the bipod leg feet.

15 GUN WITH INTERNALLY STORED BIPOD AND MONOPOD PCT/US2011043839 2011-07-13 WO2012009427A3 2012-05-24 HINDS RICHARD A JR
A firearm stock having a bipod on the end of the fore-stock with legs that store in channels formed inside the fore-stock and which permits the canting movement of the deployed bipod with respect to the stock. The bipod legs are pulled from their stored positions to extended positions and then pivoted to their splayed and deployed positions perpendicular to the axis of the stock. The stock also pivotally and optionally carries a monopod in the underside of the butt stock for pivoting rearward to its deployed position, urged by a spring into both the deployed and stored positions. The bipod legs may telescope and are exchangeable with different types of legs; the monopod is extendable and may be stored in its extended position against the underside of the butt stock.
16 BIPOD DEVICE FOR USE WITH PICATINNY RAIL PCT/US2010020194 2010-01-06 WO2010080785A3 2010-09-23 HINDS RICHARD A JR
A bipod device attachable to the Picatinny rail on the underside of the barrel of a military-style gun. The housing of the bipod device includes two parallel channels formed therein to store bipod legs. The housing also includes an external longitudinal groove dimensioned and shaped to receive a Picatinny rail and a locking mechanism to secure the housing to the rail. The housing doubly functions as a grip for the user to support the barrel of the rifle. The two legs can be deployed by pulling them free of their channels in the housing and then pivoting them down and apart in one motion to their deployed position.
17 AN EXTENSION FOR A GUN SUPPORT PCT/US2017049754 2017-08-31 WO2018080636A3 2018-07-12 GYUREC ERNESTO
An extension system for a gun support is attached to a gun. The gun has a muzzle. The extension system includes a telescopic assembly having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is coupled to the gun, and the distal end is coupled to the gun support. The telescopic assembly includes at least two telescopic portions nested within each other. At least one clamp engages the telescopic portions to selectively fix the two telescopic portions relative to each other to provide an adjustable length of the telescopic assembly, which is then capable of positioning the gun support at or in the proximity of the muzzle.
18 GUN WITH INTERNALLY STORED BIPOD PCT/US2008069650 2008-07-10 WO2009009663A3 2009-03-12 HINDS RICHARD A JR
A gun stores a bipod when not in use inside its fore-end. A gun rest such as a bipod, an aiming stick or tripod has a stored position where its legs are pushed into channels formed in the fore-end of the stock, approximately parallel to the major axis of the gun barrel, but which can be pulled out and pivoted into an in-use position when the user wishes to steady the barrel of the gun for greater accuracy in shooting. A bracket is mounted to the fore end of the stock to allow the legs of the bipod to be pulled clear of the channels and then rotated down. The legs may be telescoping to a preferred elevation once in the in-use position.

20 Bipod US15880614 2018-01-26 US10139183B1 2018-11-27 Cheh-Kang Liu
A bipod consisting of a support frame unit, left and right outer tubes, left and right inner tubes, left and right guide blocks, left and right links, left and right pressure handle holders, left and right ball bearings and left and right torsion springs is disclosed for easy carrying with an attached gun to enhance application flexibility and mobility. The user can use one hand to bias the left/right pressure handle with the left/right inner tube through 360-degrees to any desired angle and then downwardly adjust the elevation of the left/right inner tube relative to the left/right outer tube, or press the left/right pressure handle with one hand. When released the hand from the left/right pressure handle, the balls in the left/right ball bearing are engaged between the top cone of the left/right guide block and the inside wall of the left/right outer tube.
