181 | Adjustable gun rest | US355496 | 1989-05-23 | US4937965A | 1990-07-03 | Salvador Narvaez |
Upright standard structure is provided defining a longitudinal center axis and including upper and lower portions. The lower portion includes support structure for support of the standard structure from a support therebelow and angular displacement of the standard structure about its longitudinal center axis relative to the support structure. The upper portion of the standard structure includes a pair of upwardly facing support members mounted therefrom and disposed on opposite sides of the aforementioned center axis with the support members being horizontally aligned to support longitudinally spaced portions of a long gun therefrom. The support members are mounted from the upper portion of the standard structure for inverse elevational shifting relative to the standard structure, whereby the muzzle end of a long gun supported from the support members may be depressed and elevated, as desired, as well as angularly displaced about the aforementioned center axis.

183 | Weapon holder | US81309 | 1987-08-03 | US4858359A | 1989-08-22 | J. Roger Danz |
A weapon holder for sighting and shooting a weapon having a pair of arcuately-shaped support members which are joined and laterally spaced to form a rocking, load-bearing stand. Rests are provided on the weapon holder to support the weapon. An elevation lock, which is a rigid body member which defines a hole for sliding movement of the elevation lock along a support member, may be used to limit or otherwise set an elevation of the weapon muzzle.
184 | Device for transport of cannon or such like | US915640 | 1986-10-06 | US4729279A | 1988-03-08 | Heikki Collanus; Seppo Nikula; Ari Kanervo; Leo Hakkinen |
A device for transport of a cannon or such like with a vehicle, which cannon (2) comprises a gun barrel (3) and a carriage (4) supporting the barrel. The gun carriage is of an interchangeable platform construction, so that the cannon can be transported with a truck vehicle (1) equipped with a platform changing mechanism and lowered to the ground for firing with the help of the platform changing mechanism. The carriage has a bearing rail system (6) compatible with the platform changing mechanism of the truck vehicle, whereas the rails (7) of the bearing rail system are placed either on the lower part of the carriage (4) or on the supporting arms of the carriage.
185 | Triped mounting with levelling device for projectile launcher | US3762269D | 1971-07-26 | US3762269A | 1973-10-02 | RUSBACH M |
A tripod mounting for suppprting a projectile launching device has an upright mast and a pair of arms pivotally connected to the mast for vertical swinging movement relative to the mast in vertical planes that are perpendicular to each other. The arms are lockable in vertically adjustable positions. The mast carries the projectile launching device at its upper end; and the tripod can be levelled, that is, the mast made precisely vertical, by only two adjustments, one for each arm, instead of by successive approximations as in previous devices that have two vertically swingable arms whose planes of movement are not perpendicular to each other.
