61 SLIDE-ON SLIDE STOCK FOR FIREARM US13464540 2012-05-04 US20120291328A1 2012-11-22 Jeremiah Cottle; David Compton
A bump stock and interface system for a semi-automatic firearm. The interface system includes first and second bearing elements. A handle is provided with an integral finger rest. The bearing elements are configured to wholly disengage and re-engage from the handle via a straight linear disconnecting motion. In use, the user grasps the handle with one hand and places an index finger of the same hand firmly on the finger rest. When intending to fire a round of ammunition, the user pushes the receiver forward with their other hand so that the trigger collides with the finger. Recoil force quickly separates the trigger from the user's finger on the finger rest. The user again pushes forward the receiver to repeat the firing cycle. A lock can be selectively engaged to prevent longitudinal movement of the firearm relative to the handle, thereby returning the firearm to normal semi-automatic functionality.
62 Transmission method and transmission mechanism for toy gun US12853402 2010-08-10 US08302589B2 2012-11-06 Yi-Jung Lee; Li-Te Cheng
A transmission method and a transmission mechanism for a toy gun are provided. The method comprises the steps of: moving a firing action backward by means of a gear assembly; moving the firing action forward by disengaging the gear assembly from the firing action and utilizing a spring to drive the firing action to move forward; controlling the movement of the gear assembly by means of a movement control assembly such that the gear assembly cannot mesh with the firing action; re-meshing the gear assembly with the firing action wherein after the firing action moves forward to a locating position, the gear assembly can mesh with the firing action again by the operation of the firing action and the movement control assembly; and repeating the step of moving the firing action backward to the step of re-meshing.
63 INTERFACE SYSTEM FOR FIREARM WITH SLIDING STOCK US13335731 2011-12-22 US20120117843A1 2012-05-17 Jeremiah Cottle
A handle assembly and combined interface system for use with a semi-automatic firearm to facilitate controlled bump firing methods. The handle assembly includes a finger rest for the user's trigger finger. The interface system is attached to a receiver of the firearm, and is slideably disposed in the handle assembly for reciprocation. In use, the user pushes a firing unit portion forward with an opposite hand so that its trigger collides with the user's finger, thus stimulating a round of ammunition. Recoil forces the firing unit rearwardly so that the trigger separates from the finger. The user then applies another forward activation force that urges the firing unit forwardly again to repeat the cycle for as long as the user chooses. A lock can be selectively engaged to restrict longitudinal movement of the firearm relative to the handle, thereby returning the firearm to normal semi-automatic functionality.
64 Automatic shooting mechanism and robot having the same US12634943 2009-12-10 US07866247B2 2011-01-11 Tae-jin Son; Jun-yeoul Ko
An automatic shooting mechanism capable of remote switching and unmanned switching between a safety mode and a shooting mode, and remote shooting and unmanned shooting. Also provided is a sentry robot employing the automatic shooting mechanism and capable of performing wide and narrow monitoring and sentry duties in short and long ranges, and automatically shooting at a target. The automatic shooting mechanism comprises a safety unit including a safety solenoid and an elastic member to move a safety pin of a gun between a safety mode position and a shooting mode position, a return unit for applying force to the safety pin of the gun to move the safety pin to the safety mode position. The automatic shooting mechanism further comprises a shooting unit including a shooting solenoid to move a connecting link back and forth, and a trigger push member having one end contacting a trigger of the gun and the other end contacting the shooting solenoid, and coupled at a middle portion of the shooting unit to be capable of pivoting to pull the trigger as desired.
65 Receiver gasket US11532706 2006-09-18 US07587851B1 2009-09-15 Randy E. Luth
A gasket designed to fit into the bottom of the lower receiver of an M16 and AR style rifle. The gasket assists in preventing debris and blown primers from inhibiting the firing motion of the trigger of the rifle. The gasket surrounds a portion of the trigger within the lower receiver without impeding the movement of the trigger. The gasket lies flat in the bottom of the lower receiver and is retained in place by the installed trigger and trigger spring.
66 FORWARD RAIL MOUNTED TRIGGER MODULE US10906291 2005-02-12 US20060048424A1 2006-03-09 Robert Weir
The present invention is a rail mounted forward trigger mechanism featuring in-line linkage between the primary and secondary triggers. Access to adjustment features provides adjustability while simultaneously allowing the mechanism to remain installed. The linkage is also hinged and mounted coaxially with the disconnect pivot point of a weapon, thereby allowing field stripping the weapon without removing the linkage. Connection to the primary trigger of the host weapon is ideally accomplished with a can and roller assembly for smoother and more controlled actuation. An electrical embodiment is also disclosed.
67 Shoulder-launched multi-purpose assault weapon US667170 1996-06-20 US5854440A 1998-12-29 Michael M. Canaday; Fred W. Watson, Jr.
A shoulder-launched multi-purpose assault weapon having a modified spottingifle with a top-mounted electrically fired rocket launcher tube is provided. The spotting rifle forms the base structure of the weapon and all weapon controls are located on the rifle. The rifle has several dual-function mechanisms which perform the combined functions of assembly and safing, bolt-locking back and cartridge ejecting, simultaneous adjustment of both open and optical sights, firing, selectively, of both the spotting round and the electrically fired rocket round. The combination of these dual-firing mechanisms provides a lighter weight, better-balanced and smaller weapon. The reduction in parts count improves reliability and lowers cost. Other improved features include an adjustable spotting rifle barrel used to match the boresight of the rocket tube and an improved locking mechanism. A dual function trigger assembly operated two sears from a single trigger. The primary sear operates a rotating style hammer while the secondary sear operates a plunger-style hammer. The hammers fire, respectively, the spotting rifle and the rocket tube as selected by the gunner.

76 DRY FIRE PRACTICE TRAINING DEVICE PCT/US2014010264 2014-01-04 WO2014107632A3 2015-02-19 SEIGLER STANLEY
When a semi-automatic pistol is live-fired, its firing pin is automatically reset, and the pistol is ready to be fired again. The shooter's hands remain in the firing position, and just the trigger finger and trigger are employed. With dry fire practice, each time a shot is simulated, the shooter must remove a hand from the weapon and ratchet the slide to reset the firing pin, allowing the trigger to return to its unfired position. This invention, after being inserted into the weapon's empty magazine compartment, provides realistic live-fire muscle-memory training by duplicating the action of the trigger, the feel and the sound of the release of the firing pin, and the resetting of the trigger for additional trigger activations. It does not interact with the weapon's firing pin and does not require any alterations to the weapon.
