The subject invention concerns a method and a device enabling said packed countermass material (11) to open up said countermass packagings (10) in relation to the firing of countermass weaponry. The basic concept for the subject invention is, thus, that one near the rear outlet end (12) of a countermass weapon (1) barrel fashion a number of blades (15) to the interior of the outlet that protrude inwardly into the barrel sufficiently so as to cut into said countermass container (10), which is pressed past said blades (15) upon firing said weapon (1).

The envelope is divided into a front section and a rear section. The rear section of the envelope has a weaker construction than the front section of the envelope to more easily crack than the front section of the envelope. Splines are provided at the front section to create ducts.
108 | POLLUTION-FREE LIQUID BALANCING DEVICE | EP11868730.0 | 2011-06-29 | EP2728297A1 | 2014-05-07 | WANG, Shengjie; CHEN, Yajun; QIU, Xuyang; CHEN, Aifeng; TANG, Yulong; HAN, Shuyong |
A pollution-free liquid balancing device comprises a sealing bag (1), a front cover (2), a rear cover (3) and liquid balancing matter (4), wherein the sealing bag (1), the front cover (2) and the rear cover (3) are all plastic material. The sealing bag (1) is filled with the liquid balancing matter (4) inside, and plastically sealed under high temperature at both ends. The diameters of the front cover (2) and the rear cover (3) are matched with the inner diameter of a launch barrel (5), and the sealing bag (1) is provided between the front cover (2) and the rear cover (3). In an ordinary transportation state, the liquid balancing matter (4) is well sealed in the sealing bag (1), and a missile is launched forward by the propulsion of powder during launch, the sealing bag (1), the front cover (2) and the rear cover (3) crack instantaneously, and the liquid balancing matter (4) is ejected backward outside the barrel at high speed. The forward and backward impulses are similar or equal, thereby reducing or eliminating the impulse to the launch barrel (5) during launch. Said device has a simple structure and uses the pollution-free liquid balancing matter (4), thus there is no pollution after launch. |

The present invention relates to a method of configuring a preloaded anti-armour weapon (2) of the disposable type and comprising a countermass container (18) in transport mode for restraining a shell (6) loaded in a barrel (4) of said weapon. This is achieved by replacing said countermass container with a locking ring (22) and placing the loaded barrel (4) in a first compartment (32) and the countermass container (18) in a second compartment (34) of a transport box (30).

The invention relates to an arrangement for a weapon comprising a countermass (6) for reducing the pressure around the weapon. The countermass (6) is enclosed in a countermass container (5) with an openable cover (7) provided with break indications. The invention aims to bring about a symmetrical opening operation with favourable recoil in a better way than in previous constructions. This is achieved by the introduction of a guiding folding support (8) arranged adjacent to the openable cover (7) on the inside of the cover relative to the countermass container (5). |

A device for firing a projectile for de-arming purposes, comprises a barrel (1) for housing a projectile and an explosive charge. A sleeve (2) surrounds the barrel (1), so as to define an annular chamber (3) accomodating solid or liquid recoil absorbing material (8). Radial ports (10) interconnect the barrel (1) and the annular chamber (3) so that when the projectile is fired the annular chamber (3) is pressurised and the recoil absorbing material (8) is expelled rearwardly from the chamber (3), so as to counteract recoil.

A countermass for a recoilless weapon and intended to be placed behind the propellant charge (3) of the weapon projectile (2) and further intended to depart together with the propellant gases that exit from the rear of the weapon when the projectile is propelled forwards. The countermass (5) includes a plurality of mutually sequential and mutually separate countermass bodies (6-11), each of which has at least one gas throughflow passage (12-17). The throughflow passage is adapted to the counter mass body and to its position in the countermass, so that when the weapon is fired, the countermass bodies (6-11) will be accelerated consecutively by the exiting propellant gases, starting from the rear.
