종래의 전극봉 구조는 물탱크 내의 물이 가온되어 온도가 증가하게 될때의 내부압력에 의한 문제를 해소하면서 히트파이프를 이용하여 열효율을 향상시키고자 하였다. 그러나 이와 같은 종래 전기보일러의 전극히터장치는 전극을 물탱크내에 그대로 담가 구성하게 됨으로써, 전기보일러에 대비하여 높은 열효율을 제공하지만 열효율을 향상 시키는 데에는 한계가 있다.
본 발명에서는 전극 간에서 발생하는 이온의 양을 증대시킬 수 있도록 물과 접촉하는 전극 간의 단면적을 증대시킬 수 있는 구조를 제안하고자 한 것으로, 원통관 형태의 전극을 통하여 물의 유통경로를 구성하여 물이 원통관을 따라 회전하면서 전극에 의해 형성된 유통경로를 따라가도록 함으로써, 전극 간 단면적(회전단면적)을 극대화시킬 수 있도록 한 회오리 수류를 이용한 전극보일러의 히터 장치를 제공하고자 한다.
