PURPOSE:To provide a boiling pot which is light and excellent in heat insulation and warmth keeping additionally has low noise by constituting the wall section of a boiling pot with a heat insulating material and a sound absorbing and heat insulating material filled between the stainless steel outer plate and inner plates of the pot. CONSTITUTION:The wall section of a boiling pot body 1 has a four-layer construction which consists of a heat resistant sound absorbing material 9, stainless steel inner plate 4, granular heat insulating material 6 and stainless steel outer plate 2. The heat resistant sound absorbing material 9 can absorb the combustion noise of a burner 11 and the stainless steel inner plate 4 on which a round bottom flat pot 21 is put can be shielded completely from the combustion flame in the pot body 1, and further the existence of the granular heat insulating material 6 prevents the stainless steel outer plate 2 from becoming hot by the transmission of heat in the boiling pot body 1 to the stainless steel plate 2. Since the upper end section of the stainless steel inner side plate 4 and the round bottom flat pot 21 are in close contact, little of the combustion noise of the burner 11 leaks outside the cooking pot body 1 and noise is thereby reduced. Further, after the burner 11 is put off, little of the heat inside of the cooking pot body 1 leaks outside, and the effect of the granular heat insulating material 6 filled between the stainless steel inner plate 4 and outer plate 2 improves in keeping the pot warm.

PURPOSE:To reduce the radiation into the atmosphere by a construction wherein blades each having the same diameter with that of the spherical surface of a frame are fitted swingably to the frame through the intermediary of pins in a radiation shield fitting of a heater or the like. CONSTITUTION:The upper side of a heating body 1 is covered with a frame 6 having a diameter D, and blades 7 are pushed and pulled along the spherical surface of the diameter D so that the fore ends of the blades 7 are matched with the diameter of a vessel 2. the blades 7 are made to swing together since they are fastened to the frame 6 by pins 8, and a circular arc formed by the fore ends of the blades 7 together is made open and close so that the vessel is covered with these ends. By this construction, the heat of the heating body 1 is retained inside the blades 7 and thereby the radiation thereof into the atmosphere can be prevented.

PURPOSE:To improve a heat insulating effect, by adhering an organic foam on the surface of a metal casing, with a powder body of refractory material overlaid on the organic foam, and by burning the metal casing in a furnace to form a refractory foam surrqce, in an electronic range and the like. CONSTITUTION:An organic foam 3 such as urethane of about 6mm. thick is adhered on the surface of an oven body 2, and a powder body 4 of refractory material such as cordierite is coated by spraying on the organic foam 3 together with solvent. Then, the oven body 2 is burned in the furnace at 400-600 deg.C. By burning, the solvent is evaporated, and the surface of a powder body 4 of high- temperatured, refractory material is turned into glass to form a ceramic foam body 5, with a lot of pores 6 remaining in the base part. In such a structure, a heat insulating effect can be improved in the titled oven.
