A device for dispensing a dental material comprises first compartment and the second compartment formed between interconnected sheet-like layers. The compartments encapsulate a first flowable component and a second flowable component of the dental material. The device has first seal and the second seal for sealing the first compartment and the second compartment in the device. Each seal is adapted to automatically open in consequence of forcing a component of the dental material toward the seal. The capacity of the first compartment and the second compartment relative to each other is dimensioned such that squeezing out the first component from the first compartment by compressing the first compartment causes the first seal and the second seal to open. The device preferably allows easy and quick activation for use of the stored components.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lager- und Mischvorrichtung, insbesondere Misch- und/oder Applikationskapsel (1, 100), zur Herstellung eines Dentalpräparats (21, 121) aus zwei, drei oder mehr Mischkomponenten (11, 13, 17; 111, 113, 117), wobei die Lager- und Mischvorrichtung eine einzelne Kammer oder zwei oder mehr in einem Lagerzustand voneinander getrennte, die Mischkomponenten (11, 13, 17; 111, 113, 117) enthaltende Kammern (9, 15; 109, 115), und einen Aktuator (5, 105a, b) aufweist, der von einer Lagerstellung zum Einhalten des Lagerzustands der Lager- und Mischvorrichtung in eine Reaktionsstellung zum Zusammenführen der Mischkomponenten (11, 13, 17; 111, 113, 117) bewegbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass in der einzelnen Kammer oder in einer ersten Kammer (9, 109) der mehreren Kammern bereits eine erste und eine zweite Mischkomponente (11, 13; 111, 113) sowie gegebenenfalls eine oder mehrere weitere Mischkomponenten aufgenommen sind, wenn sich der Aktuator (5, 105a, b) noch in der Lagerstellung befindet.

To provide a dental mixer capable of easily, certainly locking a mixing tip on a syringe body, easily removing the mixing tip, and thereby having easy handling property. The dental mixer includes a syringe body 1 having two parallel syringes 1 a fixed on a holder 1b, a mixing tip 2, and a sleeve 3 slidably and externally fitted to the syringes 1 a. The mixing tip 2 includes a housing 2a having a mixing element mounted inside thereof, a paste guiding member 2b for guiding a dental paste from the inside of each of the syringes 1 a to the inside of the housing 2a, and plate spring-shaped locking members 2c. The plate spring-shaped locking members 2c have pawl portions 2ca on the tip-end side thereof, and the pawl portions 2ca are locked, by elasticity, with locking grooves 1 c between the syringes 1a. The sleeve 3 has a shape to cover at least the pawl portions 2ca when sliding toward the outlet side of the housing 2a, and to thereby prevent cancelling of the locking of the pawl portions 2ca by elasticity.

A dental container (10) comprising means for containing liquid and solid powder dental materials initially in separated condition. The liquid is contained in a receptacle (22) having an inner wall (26) with a relatively thin weakened section (28). A plunger (30) is mounted in an open outer end (24) of the receptacle (22) initially. The receptacle (22) is inserted at a proximal end of an outer central body (12) whilst a separable nose portion (18) is mounted at a distal end of the outer central body (12).

In use, the plunger 30 is used to rupture the wall (26) by hydraulic pressure or by means of a sharp projection (52) to cause the liquid to contact powder material held in a distal end of the outer central body (12) and the nose (18) for mixing to form a dental paste. The nose (18) is subsequently manually detached from the outer central body (12) so that the dental paste can be accessed for use.
