SOLUTION: The face bow for receiving and transferring a model jaw into the jaw articulator in a specially correct skull direction includes a transfer bracket 60 surrounding a face and a guide column 80 releasably attached to the bracket for supporting the adjustable bite fork 86. The bracket 60 has an elongate centering recess 82 in its upper or lower side 1 or 2, and the guide column 80 has an adjusting projection 85 which is adapted to be closed and engaged into the recess 82.
8 Device for visually identifying engagement JP18069996 1996-07-10 JPH1024053A 1998-01-27 SHIRAISHI KAZUO; TASHIRO AKIHIKO; KIMURA TADASHI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify easily and visually a dislocation between upper and lower jaws by providing a pair of model holders by which both upper and lower jaw models are opposed to each other, and placing guidance members along an opening/closing rotating shaft, in the portions of the upper and lower jaw models corresponding to the opening/closing rotating shaft. SOLUTION: Upper and lower jaw models UM, LM are held against upper and lower arches 100, 200, the upper arch 100 is then separated from the lower arch 200 by the release of a centric latch 330 in a bearing member 320, and the bearing member 320 is removed from the upper arch 100. Next, the columnar part of a checker plate 300 is inserted into each of selective mounting holes in the upper arch 100, and a control bolt 124 is tightened. In the lower arch 200, a checker pin 310 with an end pointed like a needle is fitted into a through hole in each shaft member 210. The direction and amount of a dislocation between upper and lower jar models when they are located in matching positions are displayed as the dislocation of the checker pin 310 relative to the outer end surface 30 of the checker plate 300.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish alignment without skilled persons by arranging a side pin outside right and left sides of an artificial tooth set on an articulator to mount an artificial tooth alignment device. SOLUTION: A pair of side pins 41 and 42 is arranged to be located outside right and left sides of an upper jaw of an artificial tooth 28 in working gypsum models 26 and 27 for upper jaw set on an articulator 10. The side pins 41 and 42 are provided with a holding part 49 to mount an alignment device for artificial teeth. A center pin 44 is mounted on the median front of the articulator 10. A holding part 46 for mounting the artificial alignment device is installed on two struts 17 and 18. The artificial tooth alignment device and a holding part 47 for mounting are installed on the center pin 44. A holding part 49 is arranged outside the right and left sides of the upper jaw of the artificial tooth 29 set on the articulator 10. Especially, the holding part 49 is preferably arranged outside right and left first premolars of the artificial tooth 29 of a temporary denture base B on the side of the upper jaw. This allows even unskilled persons to adjust any tooth to the alignment according to the shape and the size thereof.

PURPOSE: To provide an easily adjustable engaging device by making longitudinal inclination and side pinna angles of an incisor guide plate, and the inclination angle of a condyle path adjustable at two stages of a first and a second groups. CONSTITUTION: Regarding adjusting graduations 9 installed on an upper jaw frame 4 for showing a condyle path inclination angle α, a red line (a) is, for example, set for a 25-degree condition and a blue line (b) for a 40-degree condition. Also, a Bennett angle is, for example, fixed at 15 degrees. An inclination angle of a seat for an incisor guide plate 10 fitted to the front end of a lower jaw frame 1 is adjusted with a dial 16, and read from both of graduations 13 and an upper line on a body frame 10a. In this case, the graduations 13 cover a range, for example, from 0 degree to 60 degrees, and 25-degree and 45-degree conditions are made distinguishable from other conditions via a red line and a red character (a), a blue line and a blue character (b). On the other hand, a side pinna angle of a side pinna 11 is adjusted with an adjusting dial 17, and read from graduations and a base line on a seat. In this case, the graduations cover a range, for example, from 0 degree to 40 degrees, and 10-degree condition and 20-degree condition are made distinguishable from other angle conditions via a red line, a red character, a blue line and a blue character.
