PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to drill a casing hole and install an anchor.SOLUTION: A drilling apparatus 20 is formed as a sonic drill-type rotating and vibrating apparatus for rotating and vibrating a drill string 30 into the ground. A retrievable drill bit 28 is operatively connected to the drill string 30. The drilling apparatus 20 is positioned at a desired location. Pressurized fluid is pumped into the drill string 30 with a pump apparatus 40 to form a fluid column in the drill string 30, and the drill string 30 is simultaneously rotated and vibrated into the ground, so that the fluid column is vibrated and water hammer is caused to enhance drilling force. A casing hole 12 is drilled to a desired depth, and the retrievable drill 28 bit is retrieved from the casing hole 12. After that, an anchor is lowered into the casing hole, the drill string is removed from the ground, and grouting material is discharged into the casing hole 12.

There is provided a method for drilling a cased hole and installing a micropile. A sonic drilling apparatus is positioned at a desired location. The sonic drilling apparatus includes a rotating and vibrating apparatus for rotating and vibrating a drill string into the ground. A retrievable drill bit is operatively connected to the drill string. The cased hole is drilled to a desired depth by rotating and vibrating the drill string into the ground. The retrievable drill bit is retrieved from the cased hole following the drilling of the cased hole to the desired depth. A micropile is lowered into the cased hole following the retrieval of the retrievable drill bit. Grouting material may be discharged into the cased hole before or after the drill string is removed from the ground. In another embodiment, a removable drill bit may be used in place of the retrievable drill bit.

An inner bit 5 is inserted in the casing pipe 1 in such a way that the inner bit 5 can be brought in contact with the casing pipe 1 and the ring bit 4 toward the front end side, and that the inner bit 5 is engaged with the ring bit 4 around the axis O by an engaging means.
