102 Adjustable awning US10932600 2004-09-02 US20050022944A1 2005-02-03 Sammye Humble
An adjustable support for an awning has first and second attachment points for mounting to a building structure on both sides of an opening, such as a door or window opening. Each of the attachment points receive a complimentary pivotable fastener, which can be locked into a fixed position. An elongate top rail is mounted on the building above the door or window opening, and supports an upper side of the awning. Two arms are connected by a cross bar that supports a lower side of the awning. Each of the two arms include the complimentary pivotable fastener on one end for engaging the attachment points. As such, the awning is positionable in a plurality of angles relative to the building structure by pivoting the fasteners in the attachment points and locking the fasteners at the desired position.
103 Canopy structure and method of assembly US903992 1992-06-24 US5299395A 1994-04-05 Eugene P. Smith; Lawrence P. Smith
A canopy for overhanging a door or window and the method of assembling the canopy to the wall. The assembly including a pair of channel assemblies mounted in a spaced relation between the structural girts of the wall over the door or window, a frame assembly having an angle member on each side for connecting the assembly to the channel assemblies, a roof-trim assembly mounted on the frame assembly and a soffit sheet mounted on the bottom of the roof-trim assembly to enclose the roof-trim assembly.
104 Rapid assembly combination sandbox and pool US29850872 1972-10-18 US3823426A 1974-07-16 MITCHKO W
An improved combination sandbox and pool which can be rapidly assembled or disassembled without the use of screws, nuts and bolts, or other fastening elements. The well of the unit has a drain hole, the well serving the dual purpose of a container of sand or water. The leg members include a female socket with a wedged channel and oppositely aligned ball-shaped depressions. The male member has a mating wedge and ball-shaped protrusions. The male member is forced into the female member, the resiliency of the walls of the channel allowing the ball lock to provide sufficient stability for use conditions. The upright sockets have an interior funnel-shaped wall with a lower cutout and a bottom step. Forcing an upright into the socket causes the wall to spread, creating a gripping force. The step limits the downward movement of the upright. A modified embodiment of the upright includes a cross-sectional T-shaped member having the lower portion of the center leg being wedge-shaped and received within a mating female receptacle in the upright socket. The walls of the receptacle are slightly resilient and provide a gripping force to engage the upright. The canopy frame may carry a channel on the end support either on the top or end surface, passing along the entire length of support. The canopy covering is positioned over the channel and a securement member which is T-shaped in cross-section is forced into the channel, the finger engaging the canopy covering, also forcing it into the channel.
105 Awning for travel trailers and the like US3800484D 1972-07-20 US3800484A 1974-04-02 MARSHALL R
A plurality of main awning panels are mounted on the side of a travel trailer or other mobile housing for pivotal and longitudinal adjustment, and an auxiliary awning panel is pivoted to the outer end of each main panel. Main telescoping legs are pivoted to the main panels for supporting the latter from the ground at various angles of adjustment relative to the mobile housing, and auxiliary telescoping struts interconnect the auxiliary panels and associated main legs for supporting the auxiliary panels in various angles of adjustment relative to the main panels. The auxiliary panels are foldable against the inner sides of the main panels, with the legs and struts interposed between them, for securing the assembly in folded condition against the side of the mobile housing.

107 Roof lock assembly method US3729884D 1971-06-01 US3729884A 1973-05-01 DUNN R; RIFE W
A method of roof construction in which a flexible roof cover sheet is placed over the upper surface of a roof frame and is attached to that upper surface at points spaced inwardly from its outer edge, an elongated roof lock member is positioned adjacent the outer edge of the roof frame, the cover sheet is extended out over the upper surface of the roof lock member, the cover sheet is attached to the upper surface of the roof lock member at various points spaced along the length of the member, the outer longitudinal edge of the member is rotated downwardly so as to stretch the cover sheet in a lateral direction, and then the roof lock member is rigidly fastened in its rotated position so as to maintain the lateral tension in the cover sheet. Apparatus for carrying out the forgoing method, including a roof lock member which is formed as an aluminum extrusion, the outer surface of one longitudinal edge of the extrusion being rounded to provide a pivotal bearing upon the roof frame edge, and the extrusion being hollow adjacent its rounded edge so as to receive a wooden insert member for purpose of attachment of the cover sheet.
