PURPOSE:To facilitate construction of a foundational pile by forming a cone buried on the plane of a hole excavated in the ground in a circular cone waveform, and giving a function capable of making force-fit of the cone easily into the hole thereto. CONSTITUTION:After a hole having a specific depth is excavated in the ground 12, a bucket 26 is suspended with a wire 27 to eliminate slime in muddy water after the elapse of specific time, and a conical cone 28 is placed to the bottom of the hole. The cone 28 is formed of a conical section 30, a screw section 32 and a leading projection 34 and, at the same time, an interlocking gutter interlocked with a shaft 20 of an excavator is provided to a conical flat surface. After that, screwing-in work of the cone 28 is such that the lower end of the shaft 20 is interlocked with the interlocking gutter of the flat surface of the cone 28, proper rotation and force-fit of the shaft 20 act on the excavator in such a state and that the cone 28 is rotated to screw it in the bottom of the hole so as to move no earth of the ground 12, and after that, reinforcing bars are arranged to the hole to place concrete.

PURPOSE:To cause bearing forces corresponding to the whole area of a pile to act on the pile body by a method in which the ground is excavated by the tip metal of a center shaft piercing through the hollow of the pile, while the pile is lowered to the supporting layer, and the floor plate of the tip metal is contacted with the lower end of the pile. CONSTITUTION:The tip hollow of a center shaft 7 is fitted on a passive metal 5 on a floor plate 1 provided at the downside of an excavating blade 4. When the center shaft 7 is turned, the excavating blade 4 is turned through a projection 8 provided on the inner wall of the hollow of the center shaft 7 and the coupling groove 9 of the passive metal 5 and the ground is excavated. The excavated soil and sand are discharged by a screw lift 10, and the pile P is lowered as the excavation proceeds. When the pile P reaches the supporting layer, the center shaft 7 is pulled up, the pile P is lowered, and the end plate 12 of the pile P is contacted with the cylinder 2 of the tip metal M. The bearing force of the ground corresponding to the whole area including the hollow of the pile comes to act on the pile body.
70 Steel pipe pile JP3053982 1982-03-01 JPS58150621A 1983-09-07 TAMAOKI HIROAKI; NAKAMURA JIYOUJI
PURPOSE:To qreatly increase the bearing force of a steel pipe pile even when the steel pipe pile is penetrated by an inside excavating method by a method in which bearing area by the tip of the steel pipe pile is increased by an annular bottom plate is fixed to the tip to the steel pipe pile. CONSTITUTION:An annular bottom plate 2 is fixed to the tip of a steel pipe pile 1, and the tip of an auxiliary tube 3 is fixed to the inside-diameter part of the bottom plate 2. By this, bearing area by the tip of the steel pipe pile 1 can be increased, and thereby sufficient loads can be transmitted to the layer reinforced by cement 6 even when the tip is hardened by a cement milk 6.

75 PILE TO MINIMIZE NOISE TRANSMISSION AND METHOD OF PILE DRIVING PCT/US2011021723 2011-01-19 WO2011091041A2 2011-07-28 REINHALL PER G; DAHL PETER H
A pile and method for driving a pile includes a pile having a structural outer tube, and an inner member disposed generally concentrically with the outer tube. The outer tube and inner member are fixed to a driving shoe. The pile is constructed and driven such that the pile driver impacts only the inner member. The impact loads are transmitted to the driving shoe to drive the pile into the sediment, such that the outer tube is thereby pulled into the sediment. In a particular embodiment the outer tube is formed of steel, and the inner member also comprises a steel tube. In an alternative embodiment one or both of the inner member and the outer tube are formed of an alternative material, for example, concrete. In an embodiment, the outer tube has a recess that captures a flange on the inner member. In an embodiment the outer tube is attached to the inner member with an elastic spring.

77 A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INSTALLING GEOTHERMAL HEAT EXCHANGERS, ENERGY PILES, CONCRETE PILES, MICROPILES, AND ANCHORS USING A SONIC DRILL AND A REMOVABLE OR RETRIEVABLE DRILL BIT EP16205225.2 2009-02-20 EP3239453A1 2017-11-01 Roussy, Raymond J.

There is provided a method for drilling a cased hole and installing a micropile. A sonic drilling apparatus is positioned at a desired location. The sonic drilling apparatus includes a rotating and vibrating apparatus for rotating and vibrating a drill string into the ground. A retrievable drill bit is operatively connected to the drill string. The cased hole is drilled to a desired depth by rotating and vibrating the drill string into the ground. The retrievable drill bit is retrieved from the cased hole following the drilling of the cased hole to the desired depth. A micropile is lowered into the cased hole following the retrieval of the retrievable drill bit. Grouting material may be discharged into the cased hole before or after the drill string is removed from the ground. In another embodiment, a removable drill bit may be used in place of the retrievable drill bit.
