81 Self Standing Display Stand US13179465 2011-07-08 US20120006864A1 2012-01-12 Catherine McCarthy
The present invention is an improved self standing display for small articles and clothing. The display stand comprising an adjustable elongated shaft member and an attachable torso member. The torso member comprises a front and back flat surface area with a depth therebetween.
82 Sports equipment rack US48425 1993-04-14 US5377849A 1995-01-03 Harold G. Martin
A sports equipment rack for supporting various sports equipment worn by an athlete, particularly hockey and football equipment. The rack having a base member supporting a plurality of straight tubular pieces, right angle tubular pieces, and obtuse angle tubular pieces for supporting the equipment in spaced relationship to one another. The rack supporting the equipment to allow for a compact arrangement in which the wet sports equipment can be cleaned and dried and the equipment displayed in a way that mirrors where the equipment is used on the human body so that one can easily and quickly tell if all of his equipment is present. Further, the rack has a mechanism for transporting the rack without lifting it and enclosing the equipment and rack during transportation to shield the equipment from the elements.
83 Decorative clothes stand US141008 1988-01-05 US4890749A 1990-01-02 Herbert Walter
To decoratively present matching articles of clothing (11; 21-25), a clothes stand is proposed in which column members (1, 1.1', 1.1"), of a multicolumn stand consist of tubular columns (1) connected by cross-pieces (13, 14', 14") to form column pairs (1.1). The upper ends of the tubular columns (1) are provided with end members, mechanically strengthening their end areas, in such a way that these areas and the cross pieces (13, 14', 14") form coupling areas for mounting the attachment elements (9, 15-17, 19, 20) for the articles of clothing to be presented.
84 Combination display form and garment hanger US56101 1987-06-01 US4805816A 1989-02-21 David M. Freund
A combination garment display form and hanger that includes a molded plastic shell having a front face depicting at least part of a human torso. The shell further contains a hanger slot recessed into the upper part of the shell that is specifically contoured to complement display racks of various sizes and shapes. The shell has a rearwardly disposed peripheral wall about its perimeter that contains spaced strap receiving indentations recessed into the peripheral wall with adjacent indentations being separated with a flat section of wall so that a garment can be wrapped smoothly over the indentations.
85 Mannequin formed of sheet material US103388 1987-10-01 US4798317A 1989-01-17 John Lonczak
A mannequin providing a small scale model of a living or fanciful figure, the mannequin being created from a blank of non-woven, synthetic plastic, flexible sheet material having paper-like qualities. The blank is die-cut to define a predetermined pattern of interconnected sections. Each section is contoured to provide the form of a particular member of the figure and includes locking tabs projecting from one edge thereof and complementary slots adjacent the opposing edge to receive the tabs. Each section is convertible into a locked tubular element by rolling the section and inserting the tabs thereof into the slots. The sizes and shapes of the resultant tubular elements simulate the members of the figure. By means of different pattern designs, blanks may be provided each capable of creating a unique three-dimensional figure formed by interconnected tubular elements whose sizes and shapes are appropriate to the figure implicit in the picture.
86 Clothes hanger assembly US692034 1985-01-16 US4627544A 1986-12-09 Afra Scarpa; Tobia Scarpa
A clothes hanger assembly in which a plurality of modular elements are provided with accessary holders for the display of garments, the modular elements being adapted to be joined to one another to form a plurality of displays in different shapes and sizes.
87 Spring pivot joint for mannequin US632891 1984-07-20 US4619540A 1986-10-28 Robert L. Day; Robert H. Day
A spring pivot joint comprises two face plates with heavy serrations or ribs between them, both sandwiched between Belville springs or spring washers, the washers being held in a strongly stressed condition by a hollow rivet. The face plates have integral wings or tabs extending radially beyond the washers for attachment to the companion mannequin parts to be jointed. Since the rivets are hollow, a simple rod can extend through a plurality of them to hold them in coaxial alignment while being attached to the jointed mannequin parts.
88 Method and apparatus for displaying garments US473368 1983-03-08 US4545514A 1985-10-08 Malcolm D. Toy
An upper torso frame includes a pair of vertical members with a waist well extending between and connected to the lower end portions of the vertical members. A shoulder member is positioned on the vertical members upper end portions. The shoulder member is connected to the upper ends of the vertical members for forward and backward pivotal movement. A pivot carrying link is connected by friction hinges at one end to each vertical member upper end portion and at the opposite end to the upper portion of an arm member so as to pivotally connect a pair of arm members to the upper torso frame. The pivot carrying link is pivotal on the torso frame and each arm member is pivotal on the pivot carrying link to thereby provide multiple degrees of pivotal movement of the arm members relative to the upper torso frame. Each arm member includes an upper portion and a lower portion where the adjacent ends of the upper and lower portions are connected by pivot carrying links which permit the arm member portions to move relative to each other, as well as to the torso frame. The torso frame is self supporting or can be connected to a base or to a lower torso frame to provide a full figure garment display rack. The upper torso frame also includes a plurality of clips connected by elastic strap-like members to the upper torso frame for drawing the garment tightly over the upper torso frame.
