221 Modular and adjustable mannequin US43713 1987-04-29 US4793530A 1988-12-27 Kathryn G. Krotseng
Disclosed is a mannequin structure having separate parts that can be assembled on a flexible main support which simulates the human spinal column. Included are flexible structures designed to simulate portions of the human anatomy and/or dress forms such as shoulders, limbs, waists, upper and lower torso members and heads, hands, and feet, any or all of which may be used singly or in combination.
222 Garment display rack support US279163 1981-06-30 US4366907A 1983-01-04 Malcolm D. Toy
A pair of leg frame members are connected in side by side spaced relationship and are adapted to be inserted in the legs of a pair of trousers to display the trousers in a selected position. Each of the leg frame members includes inner and outer seam supports formed by a plurality of elongated elements that are positioned in end to end relationship. The adjacent ends of the elongated elements are pivotally connected so that the inner and outer seam supports are formed by a plurality of spaced parallel pairs of elongated elements. Thus the pairs of elongated elements for each pair of leg frame members are independently pivotal to a preselected angular position. The pair of leg frame members can then be pivoted at a plurality of pivot points along the length thereof so as to display the legs of the trousers in a plurality of imaginative arrangements. The leg frame members are self supporting or can be supported on a stand which permits a plurality of the display racks to simultaneously display a plurality of trousers and slacks in a variety of imaginative positions to enhance merchandising of the garments. To facilitate positioning of a garment on the display rack, the inner and outer seam supports are connected by adjustment devices for relative movement toward and away from each other to vary the width between the inner and outer seam supports.

224 Display form for pants US749528 1976-12-10 US4066192A 1978-01-03 Morris A. Wolf
A display form having two elongated, three-dimensionally contoured leg-and-hip simulating members for insertion in the legs of a pair of pants, with flexible crease-holding wires extending along the front and back edges of each member, the wires being adjustably mounted on the members to fill out the legs of the pants and hold them taut across the contour of the members. The members are identical moldings having sockets in their adjacent sides near their hip-simulating ends, and are rotatably joined together by a junction block having part-spherical surfaces fitting into the sockets. The members are releasably clamped against the junction block in different angular relations, and the form has mounting sockets in its opposite ends facilitating support of the form in either a normal position or an inverted position.
225 Clothing display form US700469 1976-06-28 US4030645A 1977-06-21 Morris A. Wolf
A form for displaying clothing designed to be worn on the upper portion of the human body, and having a torso-shaped section mounted on a stand and provided with removable arm sections. Each of the arm sections has a stud adjacent its upper end that is inclined laterally away from and downwardly with respect to the arm section, and the torso section has sockets that receive the studs and cooperate in guiding the arm sections into the desired position relative to the torso section. The arm sections are composed of relatively rigid material having slick outer surfaces shaped to the desired final shape of the arms of the clothing to be displayed. Thus, as the display form is dressed, the weight and slickness of the arm sections facilitate insertion of the sections in the clothing, and the cooperating studs and sockets position the arms in the desired positions relative to the torso section. An optional removable dickey is contoured in the shape of clothing worn beneath an outer garment, simulating a shirt collar and front, and a tie. Alternatively, a removable neck cap is provided for the torso section for use when an article of actual clothing, such as a sweater, is displayed with a coat.
226 Manikin construction US3769134D 1971-07-15 US3769134A 1973-10-30 LIVINGSTON G
An integral manikin is made by securing an essentially neckless head to a substantially full length neck that is integrally formed with a supporting torso. The upper end of the neck terminates in a generally ovoid shoulder of compound curvature extending inwardly from the exterior surface of the wall of the neck, the shoulder surrounding an endless wall defining an indexing stub. The neckless head takes the form of a hollow shell formed with a downwardly and rearwardly facing opening in the shell wall whose edge defines a compound curvature complementary to that of the shoulder of the neck. In effect, the neck shoulder and the edge of the head opening are substantially faying surfaces having a common locus of non-planar compound curvature that girdles the exterior wall of the manikin along an endless path in the region of the juncture of the head and neck of the manikin. The common locus of the endless abutting surfaces is located with reference to a reference axis lying within the same plane as the plane of the median section of the head. In anatomical terms, this axis intersects the back of the neck in the region of the juncture of the supraspinous ligament and the occipital protuberance at the base of the skull. In the front of the neck, the axis intersects the mid-line in the region corresponding to the area of the laryngeal prominence up to and including the hyoid bone. In terms of anatomy, the common locus is selected within a range more or less spaced with reference to a geometrically similar (or substantially so) locus which would have points of definition at the external occipital protuberance at the base of the skull, the mastoid processes of the temporal bones, the angles of the left and right parts of the mandible and/or the hyoid bone.
227 Apparatus for supporting a plurality of members US3754662D 1971-09-13 US3754662A 1973-08-28 PRINZ K
Apparatus for supporting a plurality of members in spaced relation including a first base, a bore formed in the first base, a second base, a bore formed in the second base, and an elongated pin slidably secured within the bores of the first and second bases to support them in axially disposed spaced relationship. Each of the bases is designed to support a member, e. g., a wig or hair piece, thereon. The elongated pin is provided with at least one tapered end and adapted to be passed through the member supported.
228 Inflatable mannequin structure enhancing realistic body simulation US3710994D 1970-12-30 US3710994A 1973-01-16 CHERRY N; SCHACKELFORD J
An inflatable mannequin of plastic sheet material shaped to simulate the human body below the waist is adaptable for use primarily in connection with commercial display of womens'' panty hose. The sheet material is formed to define a hip section having a buttocks side and an abdomen side, with gusset means formed interiorly of the mannequin at the hip section extending between the buttocks side and the abdomen side to enhance the realism with which the mannequin simulates a human form. By a further aspect of the invention, gusset means are provided at foot and ankle portions located at the lower extremities of a pair of leg sections which extend from the hip section of the mannequin. The gusset means similarly operate to enhance the realism of the foot and angle portions of the mannequin.
