29 Commemorative sports banner display and organizer US12154958 2008-05-29 US20080296240A1 2008-12-04 Ethel Geraldine Napier
An apparatus; banner or plaque that is designed for holding and displaying Sports Caps, Photographs, Awards or other collectibles on a vertical plane. The apparatus includes tabs on top at either side to secure apparatus to a vertical plane. The soft display frame is produced by a transparent material in shape and size desired, that has been edged with a flexible material and permanently secured by the edges to the base of banner on 3(three) sides. This opening allows entry for items desired to be inserted securely. An attachment mechanism for the cap is a single strap, which is secured at both sides to base. Strap is connected at such points; as to allow the remainder of the strap to fall loosely to form a U shape. To secure the cap it is needed to fold the cap in half, from back to front; so that the back of the cap is nestling within the front of the cap and brim, and inserting the cap between base of banner and strap. The strap wraps around the front of the cap at the location the brim and top of the cap are joined. In this manner the cap is hung securely allowing easy viewing of cap, and will not cause any damage to cap being displayed. Using the design of the transparent display window and U shaped strap formations; a variety of other banners can be produced.

38 Cap storage and bill shape maintenance device US09693404 2000-10-20 US06311879B1 2001-11-06 Jerry H. Rigler; Brenda J. Rigler
A cap storage and bill shape maintenance device (10) is adapted to receive the bills of a plurality of baseball or similar type caps, and to maintain the curvature of the bills of those caps. A main body (20) is formed of substantially mirror image front and back halves (30), (50) connected by a plurality of peg and socket or similar fastening structures. A plurality of generally horseshoe-shaped bill slots is defined in the main body. Two feet (70), (80) are attachable to the lower edge to support the main body in a vertical orientation. A hanger (90) attaches to a upper edge of the main body, and allows the device to be supported by the upper edge of a door, a rod in a closet, or other supporting structure. In use, by curving the bill of a cap, such as a baseball cap, the bill may be inserted into the bill slot. Time spent by the bill of the cap in the bill slot tends to overcome the resilience of the bill, allowing it to retain the rounded shape for hours. After the wearer takes off the cap, the bill of the cap is typically returned to the bill slot, for maintenance of the bill's curvature.
