41 Shelf assembly EP11159272.1 2007-11-13 EP2332448A3 2011-07-20 Sjölander, Håkan; Andersen, John

A shelf assembly for products to be placed in a limited space, which at least is limited in depth by a rear boundary surface and laterally by lateral surfaces. The shelf assembly consists of a shelving section with a front and a rear, which shelving section comprises a plurality of gravity-feeding shelves and a base plate. The shelving section is placed on a shelving section support and arranged on the same to be rotatable about an axis, which is arranged by a first engaging means, which is placed on the base plate and rotatably engaged with a second engaging means, which is placed on the shelving section support. The rear of the shelving section is in the refill position located further away from said rear boundary surface than is said front of the shelving section in the display position. Moreover, the shelving section is rotatable substantially within said limited space.

The invention relates to a card assembly for displaying multiple rows of greeting cards. The apparatus has a display section (12) with a back piece (26), one or more rows (20), and one or more front walls (22), wherein a greeting card may be placed on a row (20) and a portion of the greeting card can be viewed over the front wall (22). The apparatus also has a convertible row (28) having a front divider (30) and a bottom divider (32) which are attached at a joint (34). The joint (34) allows the convertible row (28) to be moved between a display position (where the front divider (30) is pulled out away from the display section (12) such that the bottom divider (32) is perpendicular to the back piece (26) to allow for a greeting card to be displayed thereon) and a storage position (where the front divider (30) is pushed toward the back piece such that the bottom divider (32) is set against the back piece (26)). A divider clip (36) that clips on the front wall (22) of the display section (12) is also provided.

The straight portion defines a central notch (36) and the arcuate portion defines a plurality of spaced apart, circumferential, radially oriented notches (42a-g) formed therein contiguous with the open central region. The bracket is engageable with the support pegs such that a lower one of the support pegs engages the central notch and an upper one of the support peg engages a selected one of the radially oriented notches to orient the shelf-like member at a selected orientation. The system is configured such that successive engagement of the upper support peg with each of the radially oriented notches defines a range of inclinations of the shelf-like member relative to the longitudinal axis of the support member of about 180 degrees.
