Activation of the inflation device operates to transition the cushion from the non-expanded state to the expanded state. Transitioning of the cushion from the non-expanded state to the expanded state operates to retract a predetermined length of the belt webbing, thereby increasing the tension of the belt webbing.

In addition, a longitudinally adjustable intermediate piece is created in which the unidirectionally acting displacement blocking mechanism acts in the opposite direction, i.e. in the pull-out direction.

The invention provides a thermostatic mixing valve for use within a water discharge fixture. The mixing valve comprises a cover defining an interior region, a stationary lower disk residing within the interior region, and a moveable upper disk. The lower and upper disks each have a central opening and at least one peripheral groove, wherein the grooves are alignable to form a peripheral water outlet. The mixing valve also includes a spindle assembly extending through the cover region and operably connected to the upper disk to enable alignment of the grooves and formation of the water outlet. A pressure relief cavity is formed between the spindle assembly and the cover, and wherein water flows through an opening in the spindle assembly and into the relief cavity. In order to reduce friction during operation of the valve, the water in the pressure relief cavity applies downward pressure to the spindle assembly which counter-balances upward pressure applied to the spindle assembly by water flowing through the lower and upper disks. The mixing valve further includes a slide bolt and a mixer, wherein depending upon the selected discharge water temperature, water from the cold and hot water cavities flows through the slide bolt into the mixer for subsequent discharge through the fixture.

This invention comprises of one-time single-use gloves made from latex or vinyl that have a built in pocket space on the outside surface (the term “outside surface” refers to the surface of the glove that is distal from the body of the wearer) of the glove in palm and fingers areas that have tiny surface holes on the outside surface of the pocket to allow dispensing of solution that is sealed under a plastic pull back tab. Once the tab is pulled back, the solution can be forced out of the pocket's tiny holes located on the outside surface of the pocket, by squeezing the hands gently for small amounts or firmly to allow larger amounts of solution. These gloves can be produced to be sterile or non-sterile, depending on the need of the product. The purpose of these gloves are to provide a one time use solution to administering topical solutions, medication and shampoos to human and animal patients, providing a sterile approach when necessary, provide a barrier to disease between the caregiver and patient. They are environmentally friendly by eliminating excessive waste of one time used contaminated containers.
