[Class 141] [Also in Group IX] A one-piece multi-ply double collar or cuff having a woven-in fold line is provided with a woven-in reinforcement adjacent the fold line. In the form shown, the collar is made from a single piece of multiply interwoven fabric woven on a curve, and is provided in the band portion 4 with a woven-in reinforcement 6 adjacent the fold line 3, by increasing the number or the thickness of the packer warp threads 12. Alternatively, or in addition, the fabric in the area 6 may be reinforced by the employment of additional or thicker face, back, or binder warp threads. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the band portion of the collar is provided with an additional woven-in reinforcement spaced from the reinforcement adjacent the fold line. | ||||||
