[Class 75 (i)] The stem 10 of a holder for spills, tapers or spent matches is provided with a heat shield 13 surrounding a finger grip or handle 12. The shield may be dished to surround the handle and form a supporting base when the holder is not in use. The handle may be formed as a nut to secure the shield to the stem or the handle, shield, and stem may be moulded or formed integrally with one another. The top of the stem is formed as or fitted with a clip 11 having a slot 18 to receive flat strip spills and a socket 20 to receive tapers or spent matches. The upper end of the slot 18 may be flared. | ||||||
