The invention relates to a shedding device for textile technology, comprising an individual thread control system (Jacquard technique) which actuates a weft insertion, with a spring, respectively on the upper (21, 22) and lower (19, 20) ends of the heald in a so-called open-shed operating mode with a 180° lifting course of the lifting element. Said operating mode is carried out by two adjacent different functional and switching courses. The upper and lower lifting spring frame (18, 17) with the springs moves downwards and upwards at a weft insertion cadence. Alternatively, just a mobile lifting spring frame and a fixed spring frame can be used. A fixed blocking element (14) can then block (couple) the heald in the upper shed or in the bottom shed. The inventive shedding device enables the problematic loom harness to be rendered superfluous.

The invention relates to a shed forming device without a harness for the textile industry, preferably a weaving device which contains a number of healds (4) with thread eyelets (5) for guiding the warp threads. The healds (4) are guided through boreholes (31, 31') of guide elements (20, 6). Said healds (4) are positioned in such a way, that at least one of the guide elements (6) is configured as a lifting element of a lift generating device, in order to perform a vertical ascending and descending movement. An optional connection between the guide element (6) and the heald (4) can be made and electrically controlled by catch devices in the boreholes (31, 31'), in such a way, that the heald can be caught by the lifting movement. A shed of warp threads can thus be formed which conforms to a pattern.

Should the printed pattern and woven pattern fall out of alignment, the controller then alters the longitudinal size of the woven pattern, the printed pattern, or both patterns, in order to realign the patterns.
