Taurine is one kind of aminosulfonic acid shown by the formula, promotes secretion of bile, raises absorption of fats, and is an extremely valuable physiologically active substance contained in mother's milk which obtained by synthesis or extraction from naturally occurring substances. The above-mentioned treatment as pretreatment for purification by ion exchange resin can show not only decoloring and turbidity removing effect but also eliminate protein, amino acid, and inorganic substances.
