CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition comprising (A) a m-cresol-formaldehyde type novolak type phenolic resin (preferably one having 100W170°C softening temperature and ≤3wt% liberated m-cresol content), (B) preferably 5W20PHR hexamethyleneteteramine curing agent, and (C) a ketone (preferably methyl ethyl ketone), an alcohol (preferably methanol), or their mixture capable of dissolving both the components A and B. This adhesive composition is applied to a metal piece, a solvent is dried at room temperature W150°C for 5W30min, the metal piece is brought into contact with NBR simultaneously by a vulcanization mold, and the composition is vulcanized at 140W180°C for 3W30min to bond the metallic piece.
