CONSTITUTION: A sliding clutch 21 of a powder coupling or the like is arranged between an unwinder 11 and a drive motor 12 for transmitting a reverse torque to repair a sheet and driving the drive motor 12 continuously. The transmitting torque of the sliding clutch 21 is selected to be 100% of the generated torque of the drive motor 12 for an ordinary operation (containing acceleration, operation, deceleration, and emergency stop), and to be under the braking torque of a drum brake 15 for repairing the sheet, on the basis of the control of an excitation device 22. This construction permits to attain the expected purpose since the transmitting torque is reduced under the braking torque of the drum brake 15 for repairing the sheet, and the sheet can be repaired continuously without taking a stole state.
