CONSTITUTION: The following devices are installed; a limit switch 15 in the case when an input valve to a water turbine is totally closed, a contact 16 that makes when a block relay that functions due to the electric troubles of a main machine acts, a contact 17 that brakes when the block relay acts, a contact 18 that makes due to the mechanical troubles of the main machine, a contact 19 that brakes due to said mechanical troubles, a timing device 20 for measuring time after guide blades are totally closed by normal stop operation, a contact 21 that makes after a fixed time after the timing device 20 works, a timing device 22 and a contact 23 similarly operate due to electric troubles and the same timing device 24 and contact 25 as mentioned above due to the mechanical troubles of the main machine. The timing devices function for a fixed time after the input of a water-turbine generator 3 becomes to zero, and the control of a brake is started when the number of revolution reaches not more than regular value.
