When a remaining flame detection is output even after flame extinction setting time 't' has elapsed, the initial purging is continued as it is. Warning forecast is given so as to inform emergency while operating the machine in normal mode. This construction makes it possible to finish prepurging in a short time when a control sequence applicable to LPG gas is used for the ignition of city gas or natural gas.
