CONSTITUTION: The heat collecting pile 1 which is burried deep underground in the vertical direction is formed of an outer pipe 2 and an inner pipe 3 of which the former is connected to the upper part of the heat accumulating tank 4 and the latter is connected to the lower part of the tank 4 through a circulation pump 5. Further, a winter heat exchange pipe 6 provided with a changeover cock 11 and a summer heat exchange pipe 7 provided with a changeover cock 10 are passed through the tank 4, respectively. With the above structure, the heat medium filling the heat accumulation tank 4 and the heat collecting pile 1 due to the operation of the circulation pump 5 circulates through the tank 4 and the pile 1 to exchange heat with geothermal heat so that the temperature at the upper part of the heat medium in the tank 4 becomes higher than the underground temperature in winter and the temperature of the heat medium at the bottom of the tank 4 becomes lower than the temperature of the open air in summer. Therefore, the heat medium for the cooling apparatus may be utilized as a cooling source in summer by circulating it through the pipe 7 while the heat medium for the heating apparatus may be used as a heat source in winter by circulating it through the pipe 6.
