The flow rate and required pressure of refrigerant are controlled to maintain the optimum status under the capacity control and the rotary speed control. Other heat source intake means may be installed as well in this system. Even at night in winter, an open air heat may be taken in from an outdoor unit 45 based on the application of midnight power, and the heat obtained is introduced into a heat source tank 5 by way of a heat pump piping 47, a first return header 27, a third water piping 25 and a third heat exchanger 17 in order to store the heat at a high temperature.
