CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal combustor 1 and a burner unit 2 are detachably connected by a coupler 3 to form a combustion device. The combustor 1 is constructed to concentrically contain an inner combustion cylinder 5 in an outer combustion cylinder 4 and to form secondary air passage 6 therebetween. On the other hand, the burner unit 2 is constructed to arrange a fan 13 for blowing primary air into a casing 11 having a blowing cylinder 12. Futher, a fuel supply tube 15 is arranged at the end in the casing 11, and a spark plug 16 is arranged in the vicinity of the tube 15. A nozzle 17 is mounted at the end of the tube 15, and primary air is swirled in the vicinity of the nozzle 17, and a stabilizer 19 for eliminating flame holding action is mounted in the vicinity of the nozzle 17.
