CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of crushed polar vulcanized compounded rubber (e.g. tires of automobiles, etc.) is mixed with ≥5pts.wt. of a rubber-processing oil, and irradiated with microwave of frequency 2,450MHz in hot air heated to ≥70°C for about 5min. by a 1.5kW applicator. The product is partially depolymerized in the second hot oven heated to 160°C and thereafter refined by a roller machine to give the desired reclamined rubber.
EFFECT: The surface of the powdery vulcanized rubber is covered with the processing oil having improved heat conductivity by adding the rubber-processing oil, and therefore heating can be performed rapidly and uniformly.
