CONSTITUTION: This converter consists of a two-output oscillator 1 alternatively generating two outputs such as motostable multivibrator, a double voltage step-up unit 6 for connecting a series circuit of first transistor 2 and capacitor 3 and second transistor 4 to a DC power supply E when the oscillator 1 generates first output to thereby charge the capacitor 3 at power voltage and connecting the charged voltage of the capacitor 3 through third transistor 5 in series with the voltage of the power supply E when the oscillator 1 generates second output, and a rectifying unit 7 for rectifying and smoothing the series voltage of the charged voltage of the capacitor 3 and the voltage of the power supply E.
