1 triggers monosingle stable multi-vibrator 2 through differentiating circuit consisting of capacitor C
1 and resistor R
2 . The monosingle stable multi-vibrator 2 compares pulse signal from power supply to a signal of a given pulse width and detects the magnitude of the frequency. According to this detection, D type flip flop 3 outputs signal showing 50Hz or 60Hz to operate select switch for phase-advance capacitor connected to motor.
