CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure hole 5, a negative pressure switch 6, and a control circuit 11 are provided in a suction passage 2 on the upper stream side of the idling opening position of a throttle valve 4. In addition, a throttle valve opening switch 15 and a fuel injection valve 7 are provided. When the negative pressure in the negative pressure hole 5 is under a set negative pressure value, the first fuel- increasing circuit (unillustrated) in the control circuit 11 is operated to control the width of a fuel injection pulse for increasing fuel. Meanwhile, when the opening of the throttle valve 4 is above a set opening, the second fuel-increasing circuit (unillustrated) is operated to increase fuel. This construction enables a delicate response to follow the demand of the mixture ratio in each operational area.
