This chevron part is displayed with a low-brightness signal, so the height (h) and width (r) of the droplet are found by a low-brightness counting circuit and substituted in a specific formula to find a contact angle θ. Similarly, the length between specific points of the liquid drop which is injected by a specific amount from the tip of a stylus pipe is found automatically and substituted in a specific formula to measure an interfacial tension value automatically.
