The input section 10 adjusts the spatial positions of all the unit light beams in all the input light signal groups and input light power groups and outputs the same to the parallel processing section 20 in such a manner that N-pieces of the unit light beams in the respective input light signal groups and input power groups inputted thereto are respectively inputted to the corresponding input ports in (K+L)-pieces of the input ports on the corresponding unit cells in the parallel processing section. The parallel processing section 20 makes logical processing or storage for each of the respective unit light beams among K-pieces of the input light signal groups with the unit light power beams in L-pieces of the light power groups as power supply sources for each of the unit cells and outputs the results thereof as output light. The device is provided with the diversified functions in this way and can be formed to the larger scale.
