The tracking error signals Sk of the resultant output are added at 33 to the output of a D/A converter 55 corresponding to the amplitude and direction of the fluctuations in exciting signals Sc and the signals Sa. The added output is fed to the plate 5 so that the position of the head 6 is compensated to depress the time axis fluctuations.
