Thereby, the decision circuit on the called side turns a changeover switch 9 after the passage of a prescribed time and connect the circuit 7 to the line 3. Then, the circuit 7 generates an answer with voice, and after the end of the answering, turns the switch 9 to connect a MODEM 6 to the line 3 and then executes the normal facsimile procedure.
