When the upper stage conveyor 5 is intermittently driven in a D direction, an article on board A is loaded on the conveyor 5 one after another, and drive of the conveyor is stopped by perception of a sensor 72. Next, the pinion 64 pivotally supported on the conveyor 5 is moved upward alsant on a rack 63 by drive of a motor 65, whereby the conveyor 5 is situated in an upper part on the slant of the lower conveyor 4. Then, with intermittent drive of the lower stage conveyor, the article on board A is loaded on the conveyor 4 in succession, coming to the fullness, thus it is stopped by perception of a sensor 72. With this constitution, the stock of the article on board is made attainable in a multistage manner without increasing a floor space.
