CONSTITUTION: A liquid detergent composition containing (A) 100 parts by weight of a block-type polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether of formula (R is 9W11C straight or branched alkyl; m and n are average molar numbers of oxyalkylene unit, and m is 6W20 and n is 2W5), pref. (a) a staight chain alkylbenzene sulfonate wherein the alkyl has a carbon number of 10W14, (b) a polyoxyethylene alkylsulfate wherein the alkyl has a carbon number of 11W15 and the average molar number of added oxyethylene unit is 0.5W5, or (c) an alkylsulfate having a 11W15C alkyl group, and (B) 25W150 parts by weight of an anionic surfactant.
