CONSTITUTION: A) 100parts by wt. of a water-soluble cellulose ether (preferably a hydroxyalkyl cellulose) is blended with B) 20W280 parts by wt., preferably 100W250 parts by wt. of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a) an alkaline metal sulfate, e.g., sodium sulfate, etc., and b) an alkaline metal chloride, e.g., sodium chloride to give the desired composition. 90 wt.% or more of the ingredient A preferably passes through a 40-mesh screen.
USE: Concrete blocks, bricks, etc. can be bonded by an addhesive from the composition.
