3 3 is added to adjust pH of a slurry within a procedure 1 to above 5 when HF concentration within a slurry is above 0.005 mole/l. On the other hand, a CaSO
3 slurry is oxidized by air in an oxidizing procedure 4 to prepare a gypsum slurry and, in case of preparing a slurry of an adsorbing agent 10 of CaCO
3 or Ca(OH)
2 in a slurry preparing procedure 9 by using a mother liquid 8 obtained by separating gypsum 7 in a gypsum separating procedure 6, the pH thereof is adjusted above 5 by adding Na
2 CO
3 .
