CONSTITUTION: Steel wool is held between each of two or three or more sheets of wire gauzes and these are integrally compression bonded by a press or the like to the multilayer structure. Further the laminate is sintered to have enhanced bond strength. This plate-form member becomes stronger owing to mutual sintering upon accumulation of its use and has the advantages of easy correction and retention of its air permeability even when bent. The thickness of this plate material is sufficient with 1W3mm and is determined as desired according to applications together with the mesh of the wire gauzes.
