CONSTITUTION: A batten 2 is fixed on rafter or foof panel 1 and a folded metal plate 3 to be roofing plate is thatched on the batten 2 while a dressed ridge 5 made of metal plate is provided on the edges 4 at the ridge. The lower part of folded plate, the top part of eaves and the ridge is opened to provide the part with a net 6 for preventing worms and birds from coming in as necessary. Likewise the folded plate bottom part of the lower part of the end of the dressed ridge 5 is opened to provide the part with another net 7 as necessary. Through these procedures, a ventilating channel passing from eaves to the batten 2 and the top lower part of the folded plate 3 through the ridge further to the bottom part of the folded plate 3 under the side end of the dressed ridge 5 is constituted as shown by an arrow mark.
